Frequently Asked Questions

What size urn do I need?

A common guideline is one cubic inch of capacity for every pound of body weight before cremation, so a 240 cubic inch urn like the Ivory Comfort Heart Paper Urns generally fits an adult who weighed up to about 240 pounds.

Can I bury this urn in a garden or green cemetery?

Yes. Biodegradable urns are well suited to green or natural burial sites and to private land where burial is permitted. Check local rules and the cemetery's requirements before planning a burial.

How should I store a biodegradable urn?

Keep it in a cool, dry place away from water, humidity and direct sunlight until the ceremony, since moisture starts the natural breakdown process.

How quickly will my urn ship?

Orders placed by 1:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday, ship the same business day. Orders placed after the cutoff ship the next business day. Our team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
