Earth's Memorial Raku Urn

Wide and rounded, the Earth's Memorial Raku Urn glows with bands of violet, rose and blue like a sky at dusk. A dark lid with a small sculpted handle completes its graceful, modern shape.

Raku firing gives the glaze its shimmering metallic colors and makes each urn a unique, handmade work of art.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if this urn is the right size?

Funeral directors typically recommend about one cubic inch per pound of body weight before cremation. At 190 cubic inches, this urn works for most adults up to around 190 pounds.

Is a raku urn handmade?

Yes. Raku urns are shaped, glazed and fired by hand, and the final colors come from the firing itself, so no two are exactly alike.

How do I keep the glaze looking its best?

Wipe it gently with a soft, lint-free cloth now and then, and keep it away from direct heat and high-traffic spots.

Can I get this urn in time for a service?

Yes, we move quickly. Weekday orders placed by 1:00 PM CST ship the same business day, and orders after the cutoff ship the next business day. Business hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
